They never participate in any of the promotions that other locations have. I understand budgeting issues but it's the only one in our area so it's really annoying seeing LJS posting about the different promotions on their social media, but our location never has it. Next closest one is mundeleiin which isn't really close.

This place is also a KFC. We had the 3 piece meal and 10 piece wings. Wings are made to order so we had to wait 10 minutes

My favorite restaurant, used do be better though when they had their own coleslaw instead of KFCs, they used to have the best coleslaw. I've heard that Long John Silver's down south still has the old menu with the best clam chowder and coleslaw ever. Their fish is still great and hushpuppies the best anywhere. Love their raspberry ice tea on a hot summer day.

Reviewing Nations Drive in Gurnee, Illinois. I had been in over a week ago and got super greasy fish and hush puppies. I had waited a long time because of many big orders ahead of me. My order was carryout and a male manager grudgingly said he would mail me a small voucher, and that it was greasy because the oil wasn't hot. After over a week it never came. I was leaving Starbucks and decided to stop and tell them I never got it. A very nice manager named Mimi found a copy of it in the back. I don't know which of my neighbor's got it. Bad mail delivery is another issue. She remade the food for me and gave me an extra piece. I appreciated so much that she cared. It was better this time.Their fried fish is a guilty pleasure of mine, especially since I don't like most fast food. If I ever get the voucher, I'll toss it. The mail between the towns should have been 1-2 days. I will use them again, but check my order for excessive greasiness before I leave.
